Brianna W. Roberts, M.A., LPC-Intern

Brianna Roberts is currently completing her internship for her Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Liberty University. She received her Bachelors of Science degree in Family, Consumer and Human Development specializing in Family and Community Services from Utah State University in 2012. Brianna currently practices as a Marriage and Family Therapy-Student Intern under the supervision of Kimberly Boyd, M.A., LPC-S at Kimberly Boyd Counseling Center in Kingwood and FamilyTime Crisis and Counseling Center in Humble, Texas.

Brianna accepts individuals, couples and families of all ages and has experience with play therapy, marriage counseling, crisis counseling, anxiety, depression, and abuse. Brianna’s counseling approach is based on a combination of Solution-Focused Brief Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy used to define problems, set goals, offer feedback, learn new ways of thinking as well as coping skills. Brianna tailors her client’s therapy based on their worldview, including Christian counseling when desired.

Brianna is a certified Prepare/Enrich premarital and marital counseling facilitator as well as a Certified Family Life Educator from the National Council on Family Relations.
