Meghan Ashley, M.S., LPC


Meghan has a passion for helping people along their mental health journey when they are struggling to put one foot in front of the other. She finds joy in assisting others in overcoming obstacles to personal progress. She holds a License in Professional Counseling and is Licensed by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Licensed Professional Counselors. Meghan has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Psychology from Louisiana State University – Baton Rouge and graduated from LSU- Shreveport with a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology degree. While in graduate school, Meghan gained varied experience in mental health working as an intern in college counseling, prison counseling, and as a skills trainer for individuals with severe chronic mental illness.

While living in Dallas, Texas, Meghan became a behavior specialist and found a passion for working with adults and children on the autism spectrum. Meghan’s goal is to help people on the spectrum help themselves lead full independent lives. Meghan provides individual and family therapy to children, young adults, and adults. She focuses on therapy with clients surrounding the issues of behavior management, anxiety, depression, chronic mental illness, and issues unique to autism.

She has multiple years experience as a therapist, crisis clinician, and case manager at inpatient psychiatric facilities. Meghan believes that there is a solution to every problem and she helps others reach their goals through supportive guidance and unconditional positive regard and sees problems through a solution focused lens. She believes that everyone is the expert on their own experiences and works from a person centered approach as well.

Meghan is a Professor of Psychology and Student Success. She has been a presenter at the Harris County Department of Education Headstart Program conference, the annual staff conference for the Boys and Girls Club, and has presented at staff development trainings in HISD as a behavioral consultant.
